Departure from the tourist office. Take rue de Vallespir and turn left into the rue du Dr Bouix, pass in front of the casino and cross the bridge over the Tech.
Turn right in front of the war memorial and immediately go down the street of the old bridge on the right. Descend to the Tech and follow it to reach the banks.

You can admire the old bridge with its arches. Continue along the Tech wharf to continue along the old village of Palalda. It is an old medieval village. It was built in stairs on a hillock, surmounted by two towers. Continue your way through the Can Malcion road and at the end you will reach the equestrian center.

Beautiful green area with cherry blossoms in early March. The equestrian center has numerous boxes and a training ground.

Take your walk back up the equestrian center to Can Malcion until you reach the rural lodgings. Continue the ascent to the village of Palalda to reach a fountain and an old washhouse.

Continue the road towards Palalda until you reach a place on your left 'la placette' then take the carrer del placette. At the end of the street go up the carrer del Bac. Very nice ascending street with stairs. Medieval village whose picturesque streets reveal a magnificent panorama over the valley and descend on the terrace to the banks of the Tech River. Numerous and sumptuous altarpieces of baroque art, classified under the title of Historic Monuments. You can visit the Post Museum and the Church of St. Martin. At the top of the village take to the right the carrer de l'aire. Turn left on the road to Col de Fourtou, then turn left towards the rue des cerisiers. Do not take it but continue straight down the descent.

Then take the cami de l'oliu to reach the avenue du vieux pont to join the banks of the Tech. During this descent of the beginning of March one can admire the flowering of cherry trees, magnolias. Return to Amélie by the Tech road and the avenue du vieux pont.
